The montanera period takes place in our Dehesa, a unique space which is home to one of the largest holm oak forests in the world, and which provides our pigs with their food: acorns.
The Finca Morrillas, located in the heart of the Los Pedroches region, spans 163 hectares, where 105 pigs of 100% Iberian breed will live through the Montanera period.
Of these, approximately 35 will be the ones we will see through our cameras in 2 of the 6 plots on the estate.
